AD-120N Smart Resistivity & IP Imaging System
R&D Since 1973

6-Month Trade-Up Guarantee
The AD-120N Smart Resistivity & IP Imaging System is an advanced controlled-source geophysical platform integrating automated, intelligent data acquisition with ERT and IP measurement and imaging.
The system supports high-power transmission up to 5 kW, ensuring stable and consistent signal injection. AIDU’s proprietary anti-interference encapsulated acquisition circuitry, combined with AI-based signal enhancement, guarantees clean, stable, and highly repeatable data—even in high-resistivity terrains or strong electromagnetic interference environments.
AD-120N is well suited for detailed and reconnaissance mineral exploration, engineering geology risk verification, hydrogeological structure investigation, and urban subsurface surveys, providing intuitive and reliable data support for geological interpretation and decision-making.

Supporting transmission power up to 5 kW, the system incorporates AIDU’s anti-interference encapsulated acquisition circuits and AI signal enhancement technology. This ensures stable, clean, and highly repeatable data acquisition in high-resistivity areas or noisy environments, providing a reliable foundation for interpretation.
Supports nine electrode array types, including Wenner profiling, Schlumberger sounding, dipole–dipole profiling, and more.
Compatible with patented remote electrode switching technology, the system enables both low-density and high-density acquisition. In high-density configurations, exploration depth can reach up to 800 m, significantly extending the depth capability of conventional high-density resistivity systems.
This flexibility allows users to balance imaging depth and resolution, achieving more detailed characterization of subsurface structures.
With a sampling rate of ≥50 Hz, the system records full waveforms, allowing direct evaluation of data quality. After acquisition, users can adjust parameters such as sampling delay and interval for data optimization.
The system supports recording of SP, VP, IP, resistivity (RO), chargeability (Ms) and other parameters, enabling multi-angle analysis and interpretation.
Integrating both transmission and reception functions into a compact and lightweight design, AD-120N supports flexible electrode combinations from 1 to 240 channels.
With a single electrode deployment, users can switch between high-density rapid scanning and low-density deep investigation, significantly reducing equipment investment and field workload—making exploration more efficient and cost-effective.
The system integrates a high-power transmitter and high-precision receiver, supporting both ERT and IP measurements. By cascading high-density cables, channels can be freely configured from 1 to 240.
The instrument can connect to a smart control unit, tablet, or mobile device, enabling human–machine interaction, inversion processing, and on-site visualization.
2D and 3D images can be generated directly in the field, transforming workflows from “measure first, wait for results” to “measure and view results in real time”, greatly improving efficiency and on-site decision responsiveness.
Supports non-linear survey profiles with GPS-based calculation of geometric factors (K values), reducing errors caused by electrode spacing deviations and post-processing terrain corrections.
The system also supports 3D high-density electrode layouts, enabling advanced three-dimensional subsurface imaging in complex survey areas.
